McCoy Tyner: Nights of Ballads & Blues (Vinyl LP) [ vinyl ]

(2-LP set)(45-RPM) McCoy Tyner, in his third album under his own name, vividly illustrates he is one of those rare jazz musicians with the kind of creative talent that bridges the gap between erudite jazz and lyrical commercial appeal. Like Erroll Garner and Dave Brubeck, Tyner has something that engenders a universal listening response.
