Come Around & Love Me is the debut studio album by American soul singer and songwriter Jalen Ngonda, released in 2023 through Daptone Records. The record blends classic Motown-inspired soul with modern R&B and rock influences, creating a sound that feels both timeless and fresh. Jalen’s powerful, expressive voice — often compared to soul greats — floats above lush arrangements, warm horn sections, and vintage-style rhythms, giving the album a rich, emotional character.
The vinyl edition captures the warm, analog presence of the performances and the depth of the arrangements, making it a compelling listen for fans of classic soul and modern interpretations of vintage sounds.
